Update to a new version
Updates are free and never touch your data. A new version layers itself over the existing books and migrates the database in place — you keep every bill, customer and payment you have entered.
Where to click
- Download the newest installer from the Download page (the What’s new page says what changed).
- Take a backup first if you like: Settings › Backup › Backup now.
- Run the installer over the existing installation. Do not uninstall first.
- Open InBilling. Your books are exactly where they were.
Note. If something goes wrong on a customer’s machine, the previous version is kept on the Download page under Previous versions — use it only if we ask you to.
