“The books folder is missing” — what to do
Do not panic and do not let it start a fresh book. This happens when the drive the books are on is unplugged, has failed, or Windows was reinstalled.
What InBilling does
It stops and offers any books it can find on the other drives, and lets you point at the folder yourself.
What you do
- If the drive was unplugged, plug it back in and point InBilling at the folder.
- If the drive is genuinely gone, restore your most recent backup — that is what it is for — and give it the recovery key.
- Ring us if you are unsure. Do not start a fresh book.
